We’re heading into our last full week before Thanksgiving Break, and we have some exciting events coming up for our school community!
🌟 Highlander Connections Night — Thursday, Nov. 20
Join us for an evening designed to support, inform, and empower our families. We’ll be hosting a variety of breakaway sessions including:
• Transcripts & Graduation Requirements
• FAFSA & Post-Secondary Planning
• Digital Safety
• Mental Health Supports
• Equity & Inclusion
• Parent Leadership & How to Get Involved
…and more!
Our Winter Sports Kickoff will also be happening that night from 6:30–8:00 PM, so families can connect with coaches while still enjoying the resource sessions.
🎭 Little Women — Student Production
Don’t miss our talented theater students in Little Women (Cast 2) performing Thursday, Friday, and Saturday next week. Come out and support the arts!
📝 Academic Conferences — Nov. 24 & 25
Conferences will take place during our long week off. ParentSquare sign-ups are open now—simply find your student’s teachers in your feed and choose a time that works for you.

Empowering Parents, Building Community, and Enriching Education!Join us Thursday, November 20, 2025, for an evening of food, connection, and learning at North Eugene High School!
Dinner begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by breakout sessions from 5:20–7:00 p.m.

This special night brings together families, students, and community partners to explore topics that matter most—academic success, mental health, leadership, digital safety, and more. Meet our staff, discover local resources, and find new ways to support your student’s journey at NEHS and beyond.
🍝 Dinner will be provided with help from Olive Garden and BJ’s Pizza House, alongside support from our NEHS Catering Team.
🧥 Our Food Pantry and Clothing Closet will also be open, and food boxes will be available to take home.
Bring the family, enjoy dinner together, and take part in our Highlander Family Learning Series—because when we learn together, we grow stronger together. ❤️

#HighlanderPrideUnified Sports Apparel
We’re excited to share that Unified Sports apparel is now available for purchase! This is a great opportunity for staff to show their North Eugene Unified pride and support our incredible athletes and partners on and off the court.
We have a variety of items available, including t-shirts, hoodies, and crewnecks. T-shirts are $15, Sweaters are $25, and Sweatshirts are $35. All proceeds go toward supporting our Unified program and future events.

Academic Conference Sign-Ups are now Live
Academic Conference sign-ups are now open for November 24 & 25!
These conferences are a great chance to connect with teachers, check-in on progress, and make a plan for a strong finish to the semester.
Monday, November 24, 8a- 8pm Tuesday, November 25, 8a-12pm
(teachers' prep & break times have been factored in)
To sign up, please go to ParentSquare and check the “Classroom” feed for each of your student’s teachers.
Each teacher has posted their own individual conference sign-up in their class feed. Simply open the post and choose a time that works for you.
If you have multiple teachers to meet with, you’ll need to open each teacher’s post separately to reserve a spot.
If you need help finding the posts or navigating ParentSquare, feel free to contact us — we’re happy to walk you through it!

We have had a successful Fall, and the season is not over yet! Go Highlanders!
Girls Soccer
The Girls Soccer team is in the State Semifinals after a great
overtime win against La Salle last Saturday!
They will advance to the State Finals on
Saturday 11/15! Best of Luck to these girls!
Cross Country
We had eight runners compete at the State Competition last Saturday.
Our sole female athlete to earn a spot was Cricket Phipps, who
finished 11th. It was a great season for her!
All seven varsity boys had the opportunity to run at State after their
second-place finish at districts.
The boys' team took 9th place, just five spots away from 6th place.
Their top runners were Alder Davis, who finished 4th in State, and
Ashenafi McKinnis, who finished 18th.
Great season for all!

Senior Grad Party - Class of 2026
Hello fellow senior families! The all-night party for NEHS Grad Night is planned, fundraised for, and hosted by us Senior families, & we need everyone's help to make it a success. Our goal is to make this event affordable, fun, safe, & sober for every NEHS graduate.
